Namibian Renewable Energy Grid Code Development Appointment - November 2019

RTG Solutions has, together with Mutschler Consulting (Namibia) been appointed by the Electricity Control Board (ECB) of Namibia to develop a renewable energy grid code. The scope includes consideration for most conventional renewable energy sources such as Solar PV, Concentrated Solar, Wind, Hydro, Gas, Hydrogen, Geothermal and Biomass. RTG Solutions will also be developing an electrical network model in DigSilent Powerfactory in order to evaluate the various systems within the relatively fragile Namibian grid.
